Hi, I’m Montana.
I’m a private running coach, blogger, recipe developer, and food photographer. I work with men and women from all over the country to complete their first and/or fastest race. I’ve coached at the high school, collegiate, professional, and now adult level. I’ve worked with everyone from professional athletes and first-time runners and believe in a super-personalized approach and training plan for each and every client.
When I became a runner twelve years ago, it completely changed the way I viewed myself, my body, and what I eat. Becoming an athlete and choosing to view my body as strong, capable of completing long runs and surpassing PRs was the best thing that ever happened to me. I believe that anyone who has a body can be an athlete, and I believe that choosing to train, eat, and live like an athlete is the best thing you can do for your health, mental health, and self-esteem. I am a huge proponent of strong women and a huge believer in the power of girls in sport.
APRÈS RUN is a place where I combine my work and love for running, with my passion for good food and cooking. I was brought up in the European food tradition by my Italian immigrant father, and I now work to bring those same ideals to athletes — whole, nourishing, close-to-the-earth foods, enjoyed over a communal table and without labels or restriction.
I currently live in Providence, Rhode Island with my husband. When not coaching or cooking, I’m probably looking forward to my next run or cup of coffee.
