Hi, I’m Montana.
I work full-time in marketing and part-time as a private running coach. I got my love of cooking from my Italian immigrant father, and my love of running from my mother, who ran through her entire pregnancy with me (and then with me in a baby stroller after I was born!).
I am an avid runner and foodie who enjoys fueling my body with wholesome, nourishing foods. I am gluten- and dairy-free, due to food allergies, but it’s made me even more creative in the kitchen, and I love proving to people that healthy food doesn’t have to be boring.
I became a runner twelve years ago, and it completely changed the way I viewed myself, my body, and what I eat. Becoming an athlete and choosing to view my body as strong, capable of completing long runs, and surpassing PRs was the best thing that ever happened to me. I believe that anyone who has a body can be an athlete, and I believe that choosing to train, eat, and live like an athlete is the best thing you can do for your health, mental health, and self-esteem. I am a huge proponent of strong women and a huge believer in the power of girls in sport!
I was a four-year Varsity Division I cross country and track athlete in college, where I specialized in the 5K and 10K. I have experience in the D1 coaching arena and have completed internships with professional running groups and at the Olympic Training Center.
I currently live in Providence, Rhode Island with my fiancé, where we are planning for our wedding next June.
