Hi, I’m Montana.
I’m a private running coach, avid foodie, wife, and mom. I work with men and women from all over the world to complete their first and/or fastest race. I’ve coached at the high school, collegiate, professional, and now adult level. I’ve worked with everyone from professional athletes and first-time runners and believe in a super-personalized approach and training plan for each and every client. I also specialize in working with pre- and postpartum women, and in late 2020 – early 2021, I hope to start offering strength training coaching to those in the Rhode Island area. (Stay tuned for more info on those offerings!) I believe in prioritizing long-term development and taking a whole-person approach to my clients.
When I became a runner 13+ years ago, it completely changed the way I viewed myself and my body. Becoming an athlete and choosing to view my body as strong, capable of completing long runs and surpassing PRs was the best thing that ever happened to me. I believe that anyone who has a body can be an athlete, and I believe that choosing to train, eat, and view yourself as an athlete is encouraging and empowering – whereas fixating on “diet and exercise” feels restrictive and small. I am a huge proponent of strong women and a huge believer in the power of girls in sport!
APRÈS RUN is a place where I combine my work and love for running, with my passion for good food, cooking, and evidence-based strength training.
I currently live in Providence, Rhode Island with my husband Ryan and son Brady. When not coaching or cooking, I’m probably looking forward to my next run or cup of coffee.
